About the Little Beaver Creek

The Little Beaver Creek is a designated Ohio Wild and Scenic River and National Scenic River. It supports 63 species of fish including smallmouth bass and rock bass, 49 mammal species, 270 species of migratory and resident birds and 46 species of reptiles and amphibians, including the rare and protected hellbender salamander.

The Little Beaver Creek is a carry-in/carry-out waterway with trash receptacles at the end of the trip at the Lock 57 Community Park. Please collect your refuse and dispose properly at the end of your trip.
